“Did he work the kitchens?” The chambermaid thought.
Lady Raulon stood at her husband’s side, stroking wisps of his hair. It’s fitting that death finally bid them part; many felt the loss of their son should’ve done so decades ago.
“Harold?” Adelisa blurted.
Tears stroke down Lady Raulon’s face as the boy who’d resembled her late son began to shapeshift. The Glamour spoke softly as they drove a knife through the Lady’s heart.
“For House Lamossier.”
